HELP new millipede owner
Hey all, I’m new to owning millipedes I have tarantulas, frogs , and in the past had a multitude of reptiles. I’m just slightly concerned with the behavior of my new millipede. I’ve had it for about 3 days now and it hasn’t burrowed at all. It also moves very slowly/not at all when handling or when putting him on a flat surface. Me and the guy at the local exotic pet store who sold it to me both noticed the lack of burrowing/movement when I bought it. He told me that if anything seems off within the next week to bring it back and he’ll exchange it for me. I’m just wondering if this is actually something to be worried about or if there’s an explanation for this behavior (ie maybe its about to molt) I’m also wondering if anyone could help me identify the species. I was told that as a nickname they can be referred to as a gummy worm millipede. However when I look it up I haven’t been able to find any pictures of species that look like it.
