Everyone wear hearing protection, even when hunting.

I am just sharing the situation I am facing and hoping it helps others. I am 23 and have been shooting since 2015, at the range I have always worn hearing protection. I neglected to do it while hunting however and its now causing me trouble. My hearing loss was not known to me until I went to meps to join the navy last month and was found to have pretty bad hearing loss. I have more in depth test coming but may be medically disqualified based on my hearing alone. I thought it wasn't big deal but it turned out to be.

Worried about my medical waiver.

Not a question just wanted to share. I needed a medical waiver for some stomach issues I had at 16, worked at Taco Bell and the food gave me gastritis haha.It hasn't affected me in years. Meps was on Friday and I didnt get an approval there but I was sworn in with delayed entry. Hope its comes back approved and I dont need to get anything from the doctor. Wish me luck.
