I inoculated these agar plates with an MSS, and this is day 7. I know the syringe probably wasn’t clean, but I’m not sure whether there’s any actual mushroom mycelium mixed in or if it’s all mold.

The second picture is a cloned oyster mushroom plate that I’m using as a comparison/control — both were done on the same day under the same conditions.

Do these all look like mold to you, or is there a chance some of the growth on the MSS plates is viable mycelium?

First time on spore to agar. Innoculated for 4 days. The same spot like stuff appeared on all agar. I've seen many post said it takes weeks for spores to germinate.
