When will yaoi and yuri obsessed weirdos accept that not every person wants every single character to be gay or lesbian?

Honestly these are some of the weirdest people. All that seems to run through their minds is
"gay sex hahah every character should be gay" and it is honestly insufferable.

Then if you disagree they immediately hit you with
"You're homophobic"
"We need representation"
"Their sexuality isn't confirmed"

These people don't NEED representation. They WANT representation.

There are already so many movies and shows centered around
LGBTQ characters that have been hugely successful, with actors from those projects even receiving major awards.

And the whole “their sexuality isn’t confirmed” argument may be technically true. But let’s use some context clues. If a character is dating or married to the opposite gender, has shown attraction to the opposite gender, and has never shown romantic interest in the same gender, what exactly are we supposed to assume?

And this goes both ways. If a character is never confirmed to be straight, that does not automatically mean they are secretly gay or lesbian either.

And apparently a woman being independent, strong, and capable of standing on her own means she must be a lesbian, while a man being soft, emotional, or empathetic means he must be gay. Since when are personality traits sexualities?

Not every friendship is romantic. Not every character needs to be gay or lesbian. Sometimes characters are just friends, sometimes they are straight, and sometimes their sexuality is genuinely unknown.

Liking LGBTQ representation is completely fine, but acting like every character needs to be gay or lesbian is where it becomes insufferable.

People’s obsession with sex is weird.

I recently came across a video of an actor (I don’t remember who) talking about how he lost a role because he refused to do a sex scene. He said it felt wrong because he has a wife, and he just wasn’t comfortable doing it. The producers basically told him to do it or lose the role, and he ended up getting fired.

The comments were full of people saying things like:
“Don’t be an actor if you can’t act.”

“It’s your job.”

“No one forced him to become an actor.”

I don’t get that at all. Just because someone is an actor doesn’t mean they lose the right to have boundaries. They’re people, not puppets. They shouldn’t be expected to do anything they’re uncomfortable with just because they’re famous.

What I find even weirder is how upset random strangers get over it. Why do you care so much if an actor doesn’t want to film a fake sex scene?
I’ve never understood why people act like sex scenes are necessary either. Most of the time they add nothing to the movie. It’s not hard to show that two characters had sex without actually showing them having sex.

A few weeks ago I also saw a post about Millie Bobby Brown. Apparently her husband asked if an intimate scene with another actor could be removed. The comments were full of people saying he was controlling and that it was none of his business.

How is your spouse’s comfort none of your business? Couples are allowed to have boundaries. If they both agree on them, that’s their choice.

Call me a puritan if you want, but I think it’s much weirder that so many people get angry when an actor doesn’t want to do a sex scene. If someone says they’re uncomfortable, that should be enough. No one should be pressured into doing something like that just because “it’s their job.”

Kink shaming needs to start being normalized.

There’s this new fragrance trend going on,on TikTok and it’s basically admitting to your kinks and what you think they smell like.

I’ve seen the worst of the worst, people straight up romanticizing abuse or rape.
(CNC or somnophilia)

I get it if you can’t control it but why are you proudly parading that you enjoy this?

And honestly people are getting way too comfortable talking about just weird and intimate things in general

Keep that stuff to yourself or in the bedroom.
