Expired jolly rancher hooch

So i was already drunk on some tasty apple hooch and I was watching some classic KingCobraJFS “mead” videos (highly recommend to anyone in this sub) and he was hooching some crazy combination of skittles, sugar, honey and energy drinks.

Well i got inspired to raid my cabinet for candy to hooch, all i could find were these expired jolly ranchers (they still taste fine, just more sticky than usual)

I boiled 15 of them until they dissolved, added my yeast and boiled yeast and then threw in 7 more for good measure. 24 hours later and I think I saw a bubble 🤞

Rest in peace Cobes and fuck sickos

Just found out my odds of getting auto brewery syndrome are next to zero no matter how much cloudy hooch I drink

I’ll never achieve my dream of hooching myself

Great value grape wine from concentrate

2 tubes of grape juice concentrate + the water required per the instructions (makes about 3 liters of juice)

Cup of brewed black tea (add to the water prior to hydrating the concentrate if you remember, if not just add it after)

1.5 cups of sugar

1.5 grams of boiled bread yeast (add to the water prior to hydrating as well)

1.5 grams of your favorite wine yeast

Quarter cup of raisins

Ferment for about 2 weeks in gallon jug so no need to waste juice for headspace.

sweet and slightly tart, very addicting and more refreshing than any other red wine I’ve ever tried.

Tea bag or no tea bag

Gonna make 2 liters of grape wine from great value frozen grape juice concentrate, last time I did about one liter, 3/4 cup of sugar, gram of wine yeast and boiled yeast. It was sweet and delicious but I’m wondering if throwing in a tea bag would improve it. Thoughts?

Learned that hooching watermelon juice makes the color settle to the bottom

Also it tastes like cucumber and grass
