Technology Point reset for 1.0? (curious if this is a good idea)

I mean, I learned my lesson the hard way I shouldn't just splurge (silly me), and I know technically you can earn infinite points right (?)

But a reset, one time, for an expensive price (maybe hard to farm ingredient you cook) might be helpful. It can be available at any point in the game, you can only do it once, and maybe it's a rare drop from certain pals. Otherwise the item just sells to merchants for a good amount if you find more later than you need.

I could not tolerate Quad treatment and only made it 5 days, and needed weeks of recovery before I was back to normal. Lost like 30lb. Back to normal now but still have h. Pylori and burning stomach / anxiety

She prescribed me the triple treatment but I am relatively certain I contracted this overseas at some point from food or water (maybe idk over half the world has this apparently) so there's a VERY large chance I have a clarithromycin resistant strain

Doc didn't seem to really know what the duel treatment was and said the triple treatment they do when quad fails, then I explained to her the resistance issue and how quad failed because my body couldn't tolerate it..she was polite and said she'd look into it but she said the HDDT treatment doesn't have high success, but that's not what I'm seeing?

Is there mixed results on this or is the doctors office I see (a university hospital ) just not up to date on h. Pylori literature and findings? Should I be seeking another doctor?

I see no point in doing triple treatment when the likelihood of it being resistant is almost 50%, and I'm pretty sure if I try quad again I will die .... I really am at a loss here.

I really feel good about the HDDT treatment line, especially if I do it correctly, it seems to be just as good, if not better, as quad...

So I only made it 5 days into the quad-treatment for H. Pylori and had to stop because I could not stand, see straight, eat, drink, or function. In 5 days I lost 15lb, couldn't eat right for weeks after, lost 30lb total. (I was overweight tho so...) I am also a high school teacher and taking two weeks off work (like most people seem to do on this med) was completely unrealistic. Those 5 days were so bad all I did was throw up and cry. I had to order a very expensive at-home IV service to get back to 'normal'. I am not overreacting. I was not well and I thought I was going to die. Even if I "sucked it up", I was just puking the meds up, even with zofran, which did NOTHING.

I am struggling here. I am reading a lot of literature that says H. Pylori is actually a normal gut bacteria for a lot of people and eradicating it will cause more harm than good...I am also reading that if I make it through the full two weeks, my stomach will be destroyed and there will NEVER be a going back to "normal" and I will have issues forever, if not develop more issues.....

but obviously doctors disagree, and I am going with my doctors. They have me trying the quad treatment again, but I am not going to start it until summer when I am off work. I expect to be down and miserable for two-three weeks, and will likely need to order a couple IVs again...but I'm REALLY hoping it didn't grow resistant.

I do suffer from a sour stomach when it's empty, and I struggle with intense anxiety, so part of me is hoping the culprit is Pylori (which I think I caught in the military or overseas)

I don't have ulcers, they only tested me because I had heartburn when I was overweight, which went away when I lost weight. No Pylori specific symptoms otherwise, but they're insistent on eradicating it.

I asked them about (NAC) N-acetylcysteine, and they said there's zero literature on this to their knowledge, but that's not what I am seeing? Doctors here (USA) don't seem to know what it is or how it's related to Pylori but I am seeing it aids the medication by breaking down the biofilm around the bacteria.

I mean, it wouldn't hurt to add N-acetylcysteine to the mix, would it? And why am I finding so much peer reviewed official medical literature on this, but doctors seem to have zero clue?

Also why is this treatment prescribed so willy-nilly when I am seeing ENDLESS posts online about people who literally got worse after treating it, ending up with C-Diff, GOUT or IBS as a result, etc. Is eradicating it really safer than living with it as a normal gut bacteria? Especially because I'm reading most of the world's population has it, so am I not just going to contract it again, since it's apparently easily spread?

Dude, I'm terrified....So much conflicting information and I want to trust doctors but I am so wary 😞 Also I don't wanna lose more weight, I'm at a good place right now.

Thank you in advance!
