Anyone Else Expected More? Partner Program Woes

Okay, I’m going to say it! I wish they worked with a more diverse group of partners!
Everyone has that super cushy safe for work, “cozy” coworker humor. There are many creators I enjoy, but they are all nearly cookie cutter! All the creators have overlapping personalities and are impressed by 99% of everything with 0 critique. It’s unrealistic and has me looking on with confusion.
Furthermore, I was hoping to see more partnered creators that are BIPOC, specifically Black creators. Please be gentle with me here, as this the biggest sore point for me. I am a Black, mixed life simmer so this is personal to me, dolls.
There were so many fresh faces covering Paralives news too. I was so sad to go to my favorite upcoming and/or undiscovered Paralives news channels to see they have 0 early content after following the game for months. I wanted the first look from THEM! Not a bunch of EA famous creators, respectfully.
I’d also love to see creators that are more carefree and less “cozy.” Players want to see different play styles!
As much as I enjoy Paralives, I’m disappointed as a long time supporter. I’m not comfortable with the image being pushed for their collaborative efforts. How does partnering with “yes men” drive dialogue to make a better game?
Oh well, I’m hoping that the more wild, carefree, and warmly chaotic players are busy with work, kids, spring break, etc and will show us a thing or two before release day.
No knives and pitchforks please, I’m just a Paralives lover with concerns and want to have a solid dialogue about this. Im so passionate about this game, I just hope they reconsider expanding their influencers.
