Rigid Fork for Street riding?
It's been 7 months since i switched from BMX to DJ, ever since i switched i bought rigid forks for my DJ, i kinda use it as a BMX, mostly riding street (sometimes i do go to skateparks and pump tracks, i dont really do much Dirt Jumping cause there are like only 2 places with dirt jumps and one of them is built more towards MTB downhill rather than DJ), i've heard that rigid forks are better for street riding since it is a bit more "technical"? and requieres doing bhops faster? (Or atleast thats what some friends told me)
Getting a suspension fork is way easier, either buying them new or used, but Finding a GOOD Rigid fork its really hard, i luckily found the one im using on a small bike shop but its not really meant for Dirtjumping, i bought it cause its full chromoly, but it's for like 29' inch Cruiser BMX Bikes rathen that DJ or MTB, thats another problem, to not mess up the geo i have to buy 29' inch rigid forks and use high rise handlebars to compensate the height that a suspension usually has.
How would it affect riding Street with a suspension? Because i've been thinking lately on getting a suspension to avoid the trouble of looking for a Rigid fork...
Would it really make me do bhops slower and be "worse" on street?
