I recently just got admitted to LMU. Super excited btw. But it seems like housing is a total nightmare. I have been trying some platforms like WG-Gesucht, but still, too much demand for too few apartments. I am coming in October and I have no idea what I should do. Is there anyone who could share their experience or advice? I guess I just have to book a hotel or Airbnb when I arrive and then keep looking while I am there. I have a budget of 600-900 euros per month for a WG. Is this enough for a “decent” room in Munich? I am frustrated. I didn’t expect this to be this hard…(I thought probably getting admitted to LMU was the hardest part) please, any help?
