A Fruit PSA: WA Cherry Season is alllmmooosssssttt here!

Just dropping this lil tidbit: WA cherry season is about to pop off! You’ll likely find the first round of WA cherries next weekend at the West Seattle Farmers Market! We’re projecting we’ll have them for the 5/31 market. 🍒 ❤️
Other farms may have them earlier than us depending on where they are located. I’ll be curious to see if we spot any this weekend!
Chelans will be out first, followed by Early Robin Rainers (my favorite) about 2ish weeks later. Then as cherry season continues, you’ll find more and more varieties.
Yes, this is one of the earlier starts to cherry season in WA. How long will it last? Last year, we saw the last round of cherries around mid/late July so likely similar timeframe.
