Hey, I’m thinking about doing the MSc in Quantitative Finance at ETH after my bachelor’s.
I’ll most likely study Statistics at the University of Vienna, but I’m a bit worried it might not be math-heavy enough for admission.
Do you think a Statistics bachelor is enough to have a realistic chance of getting accepted, or would I need something more math focused?
Moin, ich werde von Deutschland nach Wien ziehen und entweder studiere ich Statistik an der Uni Wien oder Finanzmathematik an der TU? Ist es mit dem Aufwand wirklich so schwer wie alle sagen? Bzw. Ist es vom ROI her wert? Mein Ziel wäre eigentlich nur genug qualifiziert zu sein um bei einem vernünftigen Quantitive Finance Master Programm angenommen zu werden. Studentenleben und die Möglichkeit nebenbei zu arbeiten wäre mir schon wichtig.

I’ve been taking 1 mg oral Finasteride and 2.5 mg oral Minoxidil daily for the past 3 months, and I’m really happy with the progress so far.
The biggest improvement has been in my temples/receding hairline. I’ve noticed a lot of new baby hairs (vellus hairs) appearing in areas that were previously much thinner. It’s still early, but seeing these new hairs gives me confidence that the treatment is working.
In a few days, I’ll be switching from Finasteride 1 mg daily to Dutasteride 0.5 mg daily. My goal is to maximize my results and give myself the best chance of regrowth and long-term maintenance.
Personally, I haven’t experienced any noticeable side effects from Finasteride, which is one of the reasons I feel comfortable making the switch to Dutasteride.
