Day 6 No Cats Claw and Recap How I Quit

Okay so here’s to my first post I’m doing this for all of you because I know what it’s like to be battling this woeful chemical in disguise.

Alright first things first was a 7oh user 1500mg a day for two years and quit back in march Cold Turkey. Quit for 3 months then I was given some cats claw samples after the ban at the vape store (you know how it goes)

Flash forward to 6 days ago I was using over 5 packs of 3 count “Blend” a day thats 15 pills a day for about 3 months. I don’t trust the mg statement in these packets it says 300mg per pack (do the math it was a lot)

I ordered clonidine .3 online and waited for it to arrive before quitting and no I did not taper my last day of using I took 5 packs of Blend.

Day 1 took Clonidine once 24 hours had started, laid in bed all day alittle restless/anxious when the hot and cot flashes started I just took Clonidine and got under a HEAT PAD AND HEATED BLANKET (this is crucial for me) turned the FAN on and rode it out till night time. Having a fan in combination with heated blankets helps you contrast the hot and cold flashes this is CRUCIAL!

Day 2 did not sleep any the following night and sweated a ton but the clonidine kept the RLS away and I was able to lie comfortably under heat without kicking and swinging the arms. I had taken quite a bit of clonidine you can DM for details not sharing that here but it was enough that I had to learn the potential fall risks associated with clonidine. Clonidine in my experience makes you couch locked so your body’s really heavy so I laid in bed all day did not eat tried to drink as much possible.

Day 3 following night similar to night before did not sleep I sweated a lot but was somewhat comfortable I just could not shut my mind off to sleep. Still heavy on the clonidine. I was able to go OUTSIDE IN THE SUN and just sit and enjoyed nature for alittle while it’s a very important step in day 3 even if you don’t feel like doing something do something small I recommend setting in the sun I felt a lot better after. Still taking clonidine

Day 4 following night it was similar to the night before I did not sleep I sweated some but was somewhat comfortable. I had to work on this day and yes I was tired but I used my will power and pushed through the day it wasn’t terrible it’s doable. Still taking clonidine

Day 5 following night it was similar to the night before did not sleep I sweated some but was somewhat comfortable. Mind you, each night there was improvement but sleep was unobtainable. I had to work a 12 hour shift and walked over 5 miles that day and I felt good physically but mentally tired. Still taking clonidine

Day 6 following night I SLEPT 4 hours and woke up feeling great! Still tired mentally but it’s so so much better! I’m working a 12 hr shift today and hoping that the worst is behind me. I’m still taking clonidine until I get through my work week then I’m going to slowly ween myself off over the next week.

During my quit I was unable to eat solid food until day 5, yes the physical was rough and is not easy but with Clonidine this has been the easiest detox FOR ME .

I don’t condone any use of any medication I am just sharing my experience and how it has helped me. I wish to see you all, succeed! I have a high pain tolerance so keep that in mind I’m not trying to make this seem easy because it’s not but I want you to know that YOU DO NOT NEED SUBS TO QUIT with strong willpower you make this a small storm in a teacup!

I have experience with quitting all opiates including subs which I don’t not recommend. (Bone Chilling Withdrawal)

I wish all you guys luck! You can do this!

This is a Mere Trifle in The Path of a Behemoth.
