Almost feel for a scam..
I haven’t sold for a while, so I posted an item. I noticed that there were comments, so I took a look. A customer said that they were unable to message, so I had to text his wife. I was so naive and I texted, they said that they were interested and wanted to meet me tomorrow. They wanted to Venmo me immediately, so I gave my Venmo, then they switched to Zelle. They said Zelle wasn’t working, so they needed my email. This is scam to me because I never heard people asking for my email for Zelle. I told them that I have another buyer and they said “wait, I’ll give you $10 more” another possibility that this is scam 😂. I blocked their number afterwards. I went down a rabbit hole on the Zelle scam, I’m glad I dodged a bullet, What concerns me is that they have my number since I texted them, and my Venmo has my name on it. I changed my Venmo account name afterwards. Can they do anything with this info?
