3 days post op release & transposition

The only real pain I had was the day after, but so far smooth sailing. They have me doing physical therapy to get my strength back so I’m excited for that. Also this surgery seems to be healing better, I bruised a lot the first time!

RE: 2 years post-op cubital tunnel release surgery

Hello! I made a post 40 ish days ago about my issues in my elbow still occurring even though I had surgery. Small update: they referred me to get an ultrasound on the elbow, and another emg. I just had the ultrasound last week and according the post op note, it says it is indeed pinched. They still want me to go for an emg so I’m going to schedule it asap, but what’s next here?

2 years post-op cubital tunnel release surgery

Hello ~ I had been diagnosed with cubital tunnel syndrome in March of 2024. The initial onset of my symptoms started in January of 2024. I had surgery in April of 2024, in hopes my symptoms would let up. A year passed, I was still having issues with numbness and use of my hand, so I decided to go back to the doctor and see if there was anything wrong. They did another EMG and it showed that it was not longer trapped, which is great. Doc told me to just keep waiting, as it takes time.

Today, May 2026, I am still struggling with numbness, hand dexterity, and pain. I get these painful shocks that shoot down from my elbow to my hand. I cannot grip things, I can't hold things very long...

I did make another follow-up for this Tuesday, but I am really curious if anyone else has had this issue! If you have any ideas on how to strengthen any of my issues listed above, I would appreciate that as well! Thanks!
