This is the second version of the Dr. Boom charm skin, designed as a Chinese lantern.
I collected feedback from different users of the first version of the charm.
The most active feedback came from Chinese users.
Their suggestions became the foundation for this second version.

Let me be honest! My girlfriend is really into Asian aesthetics, and recently she said to me: "Yo, it would be awesome if you made a Dr. Boom charm skin in the form of a red Chinese lantern ..."
I moved a latiao toward her lips and said, "Say no more."
Then I immediately got to work!

It seems like we've collectively come to an agreement on some changes to make the skin feel more unique and distinct from the Printstream collection.
Changes made:
- colors inverted: white is now black, and black is now white.
- new elements: added more 2D retro game references (the platforms from Donkey Kong).
How much different does it look from a Printstream now?

The main idea behind the skin is to transfer a pixel-art 2D game map onto the surface of the Glock-18. The map shifts depending on the seed value, allowing each skin variation to display different parts of the game world.

During a brainstorm for skins for the new version of the Cache map, I unexpectedly remembered the legendary pins. Almost anyone from the post-Soviet region has seen these pins at least once in their life, especially older generations.
I think that even many gamers who have seen the Cache map logo at least once can catch this association, since the logo itself somewhat looks like a enamel pin. In addition, similar design elements already exist in the game.
These thoughts became the starting point for a big idea, creating a skin in the aesthetic of a pin. What do you think of the idea? Which color variant do you like more?

I think that even many gamers who have seen the Cache map logo at least once can catch this association, since the logo itself somewhat looks like a pin. In addition, similar design elements already exist in the game.
These thoughts became the starting point for a big idea, creating a skin in the aesthetic of a Soviet pin. For me, these pins were always associated with something large-scale and symbolic, so the skin also had to give a feeling of power and monumentality. That is why the AWP was chosen.

I made a new AK-47 skin for my cast iron collection.
This time I wanted to experiment a little, so I made 3 versions.
The first version is classic cast iron, the second version is classic copper color, and the third version is red copper color. Honestly, I really love the red version. It's exactly that Soviet red color that I connect with the Soviet era.
