Hey guys, I am from Turkey and in my country many people have terrible prejudices towards Jews. Many people see no issue with making fun of the Holocaust. I don’t know how exactly it is in Germany or the US, but I know that Turkey is not the only country where there is prejudice against Jews because I see many antisemitist content on social media. So why do you think Jews are specifically being targeted? There are so many ethnicities, but I think Jews are unfortunately the most internationally hated group.

I am not very knowledgeable about the wars that Israel is involved in and in this post I don’t mean people who hate Israel because of the wars it’s involved in, I mean people who hate Jews altogether.

Hi, can you guys suggest me German learning resources for C1? I know that many of you will say that it is unnecessary at this level and I just need to expose myself to the language, but exposure works slowly and I am kind of bored of staying at B2-C1. I wanna be a solid C1 speaker now. I know there isn’t much to be taught at this level, but I believe there must be some resources that accelerate learning. For example DW‘s Alltagsdeutsch was very helpful for me, but I watched almost every single episode. So yeah can you guys suggest me language learning resources, apps etc.? Basically anything free and online for learning German at C1. It would be nice if it were something kind of fun like DW‘s content. I want online resources because they tend to be more fun than a regular C1 grammar book.

Hallo, ich bin ein siebzehnjähriges trans Mädchen aus der Türkei. Ich lerne seit fast zwei Jahren Deutsch, weil ich in Deutschland studieren will. Ich habe niemanden, mit dem ich Deutsch sprechen kann. Es ist ein bisschen schwer weiter zu lernen, wenn man niemanden hat, mit dem man die Sprache benutzen kann. Deshalb suche ich nach deutschsprachigen Freunden.

Ich glaube, dass mein Deutsch wenigstens auf Niveau B2 ist aber ich spreche es ein bisschen langsam, weil ich keine Gelegenheit es zu benutzen hatte. Ich glaube, dass ich insgesamt zwei Stunden in meinem ganzen Leben Deutsch gesprochen habe. Ich verstehe es deutlich besser als ich es spreche, weil ich im letzten Jahr fast jeden Tag Deutsch gelernt oder etwas auf Deutsch geschaut habe.

Ich habe diesen Text fast ohne Hilfe geschrieben, um mein Niveau zu zeigen.

Hayatımda ilk defa laptop alacağım. Laptop almaya karar verme sebebim çok fazla film, dizi, video izlemem gün içinde ve telefonumun ekranı küçük olduğu için bir süre sonra işkence gibi olmaya başlıyor. Bu ana sebebin yanında bir de böyle hikaye anlatan oyunlar oynamak istiyorum. Telefonda birkaç kez öyle oyunlar oynadım ama mobilde öyle oyunlar çok fazla yok. Sanırım öyle hikaye anlatan oyunlar çok pahalı bir laptop gerektirmez. Bundan başka laptop’la ne yapılır pek bilmiyorum ama alınca çok kullanmaya başlarım muhtemelen çünkü bayağı boş zamanım var.
