Am I the only one who thinks Lumix battery chargers are designed completely backwards?
Seriously, who at Panasonic thought this was a good idea?
When you plug a dead battery into a Lumix charger, a solid green light turns on. It stays green the entire time it charges. Then, when the battery is finally full, the light just turns off completely.
This is the most counterintuitive design choice ever. In what world does a solid green light mean "work in progress" and a dead, dark LED mean "ready to go"?
It drives me absolutely insane because my family members keep unplugging my charger mid-charge. They see the solid green light, logically assume “Oh, green means go, this must be finished,” and yank it out of the wall to plug something else in.
Then I go to grab my battery and realise is only at 20%.Every other electronic device on the planet uses red/amber for charging and green for fully charged. Turning the light off to signal completion just makes it look like the charger died or got unplugged.End of rant.
