Grocery Docket Testers required

Hey everyone,

I’m preparing to release Grocery Docket (grocerydocket.com) and I'm looking for a small group of beta testers to try it out, give honest feedback, and help me stress-test the AI features before our public launch.

The Problem:

Traditional grocery apps are just static checklists. You still have to type every item manually, guess what’s left in your fridge, and organize your route through the store yourself.

How Grocery Docket Fixes This:

Grocery Docket uses AI to remove the tedious manual work from grocery planning and inventory tracking:

• 🧠 AI List Generation: Type in meal ideas, recipes, or plain text notes, and let the AI automatically build and organize your shopping list.

• 🧾 Smart Scanning & Parsing: Quickly import recipes or lists without manually typing each item.

• 🏷️ Aisle & Category Sorting: Automatically groups items by store section so you save time while shopping.

• 📦 Pantry Management: Keep track of what’s already in your kitchen to reduce food waste and avoid buying duplicates.

What I’m Looking for from Beta Testers:

• Is the AI output accurate and fast enough for daily use?

• Are there any UX bottlenecks when you're actually in the store or planning meals?

• Any bugs or missing features you’d expect in an app like this?

How to Join:

Since we use live AI models on the backend, beta spots are currently limited. Head over to grocerydocket.com to sign up, or drop a comment below and I’ll send you an invite code directly.

Thanks for helping me build a better app!

What is the most unnecessarily complicated part of your job or hobby?

I was talking to a mate who spends hours every week just manually formatting spreadsheets for his plumbing business. It got me thinking—what’s the most tedious, archaic process you still have to deal with in your industry or your hobbies?

Developing a tool to track NZ grocery inflation/spending – need a few sample Woolworths & New World tax invoices for testing

Hi everyone! 👋

I’m currently building a local tech project/app and need a few sample tax invoices from New World or Woolworths/Countdown Click & Collect orders (the final email/PDF receipt sent after your order is picked and ready).

If you’re happy to help share a copy or two, please leave a comment below and I'll send you a direct message!

🔒 Privacy First: Please feel free to cross out, blur, or remove your name, address, payment details, or any other personal info before sending. I only need to see how the item formatting, GST, and pricing layout look.

Bonus: I’ll be looking for some local beta testers ("guinea pigs") in the near future! If you’re the analytical type or just love tracking your grocery spending, let me know—I’d be happy to give you free early access to show you what I’ve designed!

Thanks in advance!
