im enrolled in the short-term deferment plan so my bill isnt due until october but i still have a charge for my orientation fee that says it's due today. does anyone know how i can pay only that? bc when i go to make a payment im only seeing a way to make a payment towards my entire bill
i chose the bronze meal plan (idk how bc i heard its not supposed to be available to freshman) and im looking at my meal plan balance and it says "pending" and i have no shastabucks or anything. i enrolled in short term deferrment so i havent paid my meal plan yet but bc its deferred shouldnt i still get it? or is it bc i chose bronze when i wasnt supposed to? i would prefer to call financial aid or dining services but my calls keep failing

starting as a freshman this year and im not bringing my car for the first few months bc i dont wanna pay for a parking pass and im also not sure if i'll really need it. but i was thinking about my parents bringing it over a few months in if i do decide i need it, but i have a pretty expensive car and ik we're in 3rd ward so do yall think i should just leave it completely? im staying in the dorms but only for this year and sophomore year im planning on getting an apartment.
also, are there any good places around where i can do a little bit of shopping for supplies? i was planning on buying a lot of my stuff there to save packing room but now im worried i wont have a way to actually go and get the stuff lol
i am not asking for medical advice. im 18 and last night i was at this party and started running but i fell really bad and scraped my hands and knee really bad which is fine but i think i also fell on my big toe wrong bc its swollen and i cant put pressure on it and it hurts sooo bad. its been about 8 hours and all i could do was elevate it and wrap it with a shirt that i wet with cold water because i didn't wanna limp past my dad in the living room to get ice at like 2am. i don't see bruising but im also black and i cant really see bruises on myself, it looks straight, its just very swollen and painful. i was able to walk last night by limping but that was definitely adrenaline bc i just tried to walk about 30 mins ago and can't do it at all. is it broken or sprained? should i go to urgent care for this or is there a way to fix it at home because i really don't want to go through the entire hassle of getting checked out and i don't want my parents to be inconvenienced with it either. i have work off for the weekend but i am scheduled the entirety of next week which is my last week there because i'm going to college in 2 weeks and i really don't wanna miss out. also, if my big toe is broken i hear that all they do is xray and give you a boot or something and i feel like i should be able to heal it at home. what do i do here?
i saw someone on here say that you have to sign the petition to get the bronze meal plan as a freshman but i definitely didn't sign that and i was able to sign up for the bronze plan. i'm not gonna get like scammed or something when school starts and they tell me i have to pick silver right? 😭
i'm moving into cv1 next month and i'm wondering if we're able to loft the beds? like tall enough to fit the desk under. if not, how tall is it able/allowed to go?
I'm heading into college next month and I just turned 18 last week and I'm having trouble with verifying my identity online. I tried ID me but for some reason my license wouldn't work so it asked me to do a video call and also provide another form of identification but as of right now I don't know where my social security card is and I can't get a version of my W-2 with my ssn uncensored. So then, I tried login.gov but since I just turned 18 my license expired and it's not shipping for another few weeks because apparently they have a lot of requests (ID me allows expired licenses within 12 months but login.gov doesn't). So I used my passport instead and it get through everything and it says "we couldn't find records matching your personal information." Then I was thinking about going to the post office and it says you can't use your passport as a form of ID. Which is all I have since my license is shipping in and I don't have a state ID, only a military one. Does anyone know how to fix this or what to do? 😫 I just need to pay for college lol
