Not sure if this is already a Jon Bois video or if there is any data backing this theory, but does playing for a losing franchise have any impact on career length and chances of being traded and playing for a better team?

For example, do the other 31 teams look at the roster of the worst team and label all their rookies as “bad”?

Or does individual performance always beat consistent 0-17 records?

For example, you are ordered to advance your platoon to your Captains position “A.” In route, a Major steps in and gives you direct orders to advance to his position “B.”

Your Captain, noticing your delay, flies into a fit of rage and orders you to disregard everything and hurry back to position “A.”

Note: Neither your Captain nor the Major are in contact with one another and are unaware of your current orders. You also cannot radio back but are instead receiving one-way communication.

Which order do you follow? The original order or the highest ranking officer?

In the movie, the character Lau is a Chinese national and a banker with a money laundering side-hustle. Lau escapes back home to China to evade a US arrest warrant.

The main character Bruce Wayne, a vigilante, flies to China and kidnaps Lau to return him back to US soil to face prosecution.

In real life, would kidnapping a suspect overseas violate some form of jurisdiction, due process, or chain of custody? Or does this fall into some grey area because the suspect “happened” to appear in front of an LEO who could act on the warrant?

I imagine some judge or circuit court might take issue to bounty hunting and international sovereignty.
