Well soldiers, this is the end.

The very best of luck to all of us who spent the year studying. We deserve nothing but laughter, relief, and tears of joy. We are all in this together!!!

Also is anyone sleeping tonight? Coz I dont think I will...

Worried about failing a subject

Is anyone else afraid that they failed a subject despite studying and doing exam papers for the given subject? Im worried I failed biology and chemistry. Chemistry was hard enough, and biology disappointed me. I put in a lot of work and effort and the questions in biology confused me. I mainly focused on unit 1 and 2, and glanced over unit 3. Lots of worry for me. I didnt leave any question blank though, and I attempted everything.

Scared for results

Results are already in 2 weeks, how are ye feeling? Im genuinely having nightmares about them. Had a nightmare about failing history and writing dogshite on irish. Im feeling confident though. Both confident and worried, I feel I did okay. I just want mid 300s to low 400s and to pass maths and biology for my biochemistry courses. If i fail either of those subjects I wont get any course on my cao, but I dont think I failed...just a bit scared yk? Scared of the unknown.. how do Ye feel?

What does it take to fail

Hey this is a genuine question. So results are in 20 days and im kind of cautious about my performance in the leaving cert exams. Im not the smartest student, but i still tried my very best. I got 308-327 points on my mocks and 30% on ordinary level maths DEB mock. I need O6 on maths and H7 on biology for my course. I got 38% on my biology mock without proper study. For the actual exams, I filled out every single box and left nothing blank. Im just afraid that I failed and I need reassurance.

Making friends in college

So I'll be moving to a different county thats an hour away from my home city for university. I really need to make new friends in university. My secondary school experience wasnt really the greatest I had a few friends but a lot of classmates and even teachers were mean to me. I dont wanna go through what I went through in secondary school😢. Do you guys have any tips for making new friends in college? Im quite extroverted, but Im also afraid of being dragged into drama. Let me know!

am i wrong for not trusting white people as much

i dont like stereotyping all white people as racist, but as i get older i realise a lot of white people are racist. its getting to a point where i am starting to feel overwhelmed, ive been the only black girl in my classes from preschool up until highschool graduating. i have had to drop a handful of white people because of racism and it hurts so much. and my boyfriend happens to be white, me and him have been dating for 3 years and a half. i know his family and they are welcoming and great, i wouldnt frame them as racist, but all these other white friends ive had are terrible. id be called microaggressions like sassy, loud or too "forward" when i would only express feelings. im not saying i only have white friends, i also have black friends and poc friends, but that would be outside school. my whole school experience has been surrounded by white people, which is why i also feel somewhat alone. i feel upset and isolated, i hope i make more black friends in university. im not saying i dont want to be friends with white people, but im finding it hard to trust a lot of them i meet when i first speak to them. any advice? :(
