I have some tiny chronograph sub-dial watch hands I'd like to paint white. At the moment, they are bare, polished steel, but with a black outline that I'd like to keep.

For such fine work, I was thinking of using a fine-tipped sharpie with oil based paint to paint the body of the watch, which would then allow me to preserve the fine outline.

Would love some opinions or suggestions.
