Anyone else feel like they can only handle smaller ring sizes?

Anyone else feel like they can only handle smaller ring sizes?

My current planner is the Filofax Saffiano Compact which has 15mm rings and even though the rings seem so small, I’ve found that that’s just what works for me. I think being left-handed has a lot to do with it as if my rings are full, it’s more comfortable to write on. Also I think bringing it places as my EDC is so much easier.

I tried a Moterm Elite cover, but the rings size was just too unwieldy for me. Which was a shame because it was such a beautiful cover. So I guess I’m stuck with sacrificing some things I’d like to have in my planner, especially because it’s also my wallet.

But what does everyone else think about using small rings? Am I the only one who really enjoys it despite the lack of space, or are there others like me?

Whats the verdict on discbound planners for left-handed people?

So, I’m currently in a rings planner for my EDC (in which I use multiple C&P inserts), and I’ve found out through trial and error that writing gets a little challenging on rings that are bigger than like 16mm. I really have my eye on either the CP Petite or the HP Mini, but I’m just worried that the discs are just going to make writing difficult.

However I really want the ability to fold the book over and also not always need a big bulky cover on it. Also I just really, really like the look of the discbound stuff and it feels like it would be easier to take out and put in inserts since there’s no rings to open and close.

Anyway, I’m hoping to hear from any other lefties who use whichever size of discs and the experience they have with them.

Thanks in advance for any answers!!

Any fellow migraine sufferers know a better color filter setting?

So far this is what I’ve come up with because I know yellow helps make the white colors more bearable. (You should see my work monitors, considering on Windows I can just adjust the yellow tint with a slider)

But I was just curious if anyone else has come up with a setting that really helps them. As much as I look at my phone all of the time, I’d like to make it the most comfortable I can.

Thanks in advance for anyone who replies!

My First C&P Experience

Hello! So, I ordered my first C&P ‘system’ I think it was Monday of last week and finally received my order today! If anyone is interested, I thought I’d write a bit of my experience and impressions so far.

I ended up going with the vinyl cover travel notebook in pocket plus. I love my TN’s but the passport just wasn’t doing it for me recently and I saw this size and decided to give it a shot! I’m lowkey obsessed with it, ngl. I also really like the notebooks themselves. I really appreciate that there’s so many options for structured inserts for the cover as I’m terrible at converting blank books into something myself haha. I’m most excited about the daily wellness insert as I’m attempting a bit of self betterment.

Everything feels very nice and premium and I appreciated the freebies (one of which I stuck in the cover, as you can see as I’m terrible with deco lol) not to mention the packaging was on point. I’ve only done a bit of writing in the inserts but I have a feeling that even though it’s still small, it won’t feel as cramped as the passport could feel at times.

My only gripes so far are small, I would say. I didn’t realize they were operating on a delay when I ordered so I had to be patient for once in my life, which is hard for me lol. And also my cover came slightly damaged. It’s very difficult to get on camera since it’s clear, but there’s a long scratch mark on the cover from about the middle of the front diagonally around to the back. You can kind of see it in this photo just above the elastic on the left side.

It’s not a huge deal since it’s barely noticeable when I have things inside of the cover, but it is there and was a bit disappointing after having dealt with the delay. Again, nothing huge, but this was my first experience, so you know.

Overall, I’m looking forward to using this system, though! I love how customizable it is and how easy it is to change things around for my neurodivergent brain. I’m hoping I’ve found a new stationary company to be obsessed with haha.
