My 10 yr old has been having toothache since a week. The dentist(general dentist) is suggesting root canal, but also said he could try filling and can give 50% success rate assurance on the same.

I read that extraction is also a viable option. Please help. The kid is in pain and since last couple days, have been waking up in the middle of the night with pain
