PC only player with no mobile experience here. Having difficulties clearing songs on 26+, is it really easier on PC than on mobile devices?
People kept saying just D-K it but some notes like some green curves with wide swings you can't just hold one key and leave it cause it'll get out of the hit register range and cause a miss. And God forbid if there's another note you have to hit mid curve cuz it'll mess with that one. Plus you'll instinctively want to use the other keys too.
Also some rapid notes in songs like Kingworld or Ghost sometimes don't register, causing HP loss or death.
Granted this might (or rather most likely) be a skill issue on my side since my last experience with Rhythm Game was O2Jam and that was like 20 years ago, but I still genuinely think that playing this game on PC isn't as easy as people kept reverberating.
And just some note : Hardest song I survived was Expert Ghost (28). Somehow survived that on 50HP left after like 8 or 9 tries, but at the same time I still can't clear Expert Kyun Kyun Miko Kyun Kyun at all after like 30+ tries. I swear that song does not feel like 26.
I just noticed after playing Live and Pokajans for several hours that my entire score did not register at all, did they just disabled event ranking entirely on PC? Or is there something wrong with my game?
For reference, I participated on the previous event with no issues and even got Gold rank.
First, thank you for u/Some-Trainer-8484 for reaching out and the mentoring, even played together for a bit. After the disaster from yesterday evening I finally able to overcome the challenge and beat this course not just in Pro but also in Unbeatable difficulty.
Switched to a different car with a different tuning, this one has massive acceleration which helps me catch up with the AIs but the downside is that it's pretty heavy during turns.
Yeah, it's not a clean race, and on my current skill level I still have to rely on ramming the AI a lot during some turns, but :
I still have difficulties keeping my pace around the garden part and the Tokyo Station turn so if anyone got tips on how you usually do those parts please drop them below.
Been wanting to use this music as my main menu music but it's been a real while since they last added anything new to the music selections, did they ever say why they stopped doing it?
