Verity (2026)
Hello r/badMovies just want to drop a recommendation for Verity (2026) as a field trip for your local Bad Movie Club. The movie was a complete turd and the dialog was hilarious right from the very first interaction between the two leads -- a bloodsoaked meetcute that takes place in a NYC public restroom. I saw it with a small group last night and there were plenty of giggles and snickers from the audience throughout the movie. It would be fun to bring a whole row of Bad Movie lovers to really laugh at all the absurdities and loosen up the rest of the theater. For fans of Color Of Night (1992) and other cheesy erotic thrillers from the 80's and 90's -- or for Bad Movie masochists who like to sit through awful Lifetime productions -- also for fans of Wet Hot American Summer (2001) which was also directed by Michael Showalter so the near-satirical tone of Verity might actually be on purpose??? What do you think?
