Hello! I would like to see if anyone is on the same scenario as mine. My group work insurance covered the top surgery however, it needs to be submitted to AHS and Manulife will pay the rest. I have already scheduled to a private surgeon (which I preferred). But I dont think I will get reimbursement. What should I do?

Can I force AHS to reject my claim? So that I can cover by manulife?

Sorry: to give more info, I didnt know that Alberta will cover it and I already have a surgery date. And now Manulife is telling me that I have to go through the process with the province before they even pay. My surgery is next month September 2026.
