Hi, I’ve never owned any sort of pc, laptop, or whatever before, and wanted to know if there’s any basic tips or knowledge I should know?

Should I purchase a cooling stand/pad? Or just a stand. Is there anything else relevant I should know for these? It got really hot earlier just on my desk, so I want to make sure nothing bad will happen to it. I also purchased one of those things that gives me more USB ports so I can connect my keyboard as well. (Being delivered)

One more mention, the outer casing (right below the screen but above the keyboard) feels very hot. Is this normal? And is it normal for the fans to be super loud even when idling a game such as Roblox?
