hi! i posted this in another sub reddit and haven’t gotten any response, any help would be appreciated. sorry if it’s super long.

basically i decided to make a mod pack on curse forge, i never have before it didn’t seem that hard until i came across problems eventually while playing.

sometimes i’ll add more mods here and there and last night i decided to do that, which involved me adding sophisticated storage, layer skin 3d ? , handcrafted, and maybe one more thing. but i noticed the storage wasn’t rendering right (i also have the simply hats mod and the rgb never worked either) i did some research and found that sodium, what i did have before, even though it says it’s good for neoforge that it still shouldn’t be used. i download embeddium, as well as neoculus for my shaders and remove all sodium stuff. everything is fine until the following day and now my friend can’t join at all. i’ve been trying to fix it and nothing works. we use essential.

a couple things i noticed, not sure if it relates but i was doing some testing, disabling some mods to see if it would work, my mod is called maximum mod so i made a copy and it was maximum mod (2) , the test one. then later i deleted that and went to click on the three dots on the original, opened my folder and the instance at the top of the file says maximum mod (2) so i was wondering if maybe something got mixed up?? as well as when i started disabling more mods and stuff but number went down to about 128? but when i open mc itself thru curseforge, the bottom left hand corner says 141. i’m just so confused at what to do i’ve tried everythjng even trying to download an alternative to essential (e4mc) and that didn’t work.

edit: want to mention that yes everything is the right version, i use neoforge, and i’m using version 1.21.1
