The official Italy strike website has been showing a nationwide 48 hour strike on May 15th and 16th for public/private rail and maritime (CSLE union). Today, it disappeared. Does that mean it’s not happening? I can’t find any news articles about it. We are traveling those days and would like to confirm. Thanks!

We will be arriving at FCO (overnight flight) and going straight to Rome Termini to take a train to Florence. We won’t have enough time for lunch so we want to pick up food to take on the train. Any suggestions for celiac-friendly (gluten free) lunch options for take out near the train station? Thanks!
We will be driving from Florence through Tuscany in a couple weeks. One day we will have our luggage with us and want to stop in Lucca for a few hours. Is it safe to leave luggage in the rental car? It may be visible depending on what car we get. Please let me know of any secure lot recommendations or should we store it during that time?
