Fellowship Saga Box is on Amazon for $68 right now (8/19/2026)

Just thought you'd ought to know : )

Accidentally got the core box when it was mislabeled as Fate of the Fellowship on a store front. Was too late to return. Been playing Marvel Rivals and loving it. Getting into board gaming. Huge LOTR fan, but heard a lot was out of print. So, I wasn't going to bother. Saw Fellowship and all 4 starters decks are on Amazon at retail and Asmodee has stock of Two Towers and Return of the King right now too. Hoping it's enough of a pool getting all of these to enjoy playing though the saga. Might not jump in right now, as I'm just starting with Champions, but buying while they are available felt smart. Was a pleasant surprise to see I could get the saga and the starters that will hopefully get me through it at retail! Especially Fellowship.

Spreading the word on the availability. US ONLY.

Just got the core box and loving it. How should I approach what’s next?

I’m debating between get Agents of Shield and the rest of Wave 9, but Fear No Evil looks really cool and I’m wondering if I should just start from where I’m starting.

Seems Wave 9 would blend better with the core box, but idk if it’s best to go that direction to build a foundation or jump right into the newest thing.

Out of Wave 9 really only Bucky and Shuri are appealing, but I hear the campaign is great and has top tier scenarios and is built with them in mid. Though, it seems people are mixed on it and feel Fear No Evil is better. Daredevil and Kingpin are mighty enticing. Just wondering how it blends with core. Seems almost like its own thing entirely because the street level stuff has always felt like its own universe.

I know I should hang out with the core for a bit first, but with how fast stuff seems to disappear as far as expansions and heroes, I feel a bit pressured to determine a direction. Especially if going wave 9. Sad I missed X-men, especially Magik and Gambit and other favorite heroes.

I know everyone asks but not since the new release. So what do you all recommend I do?
