DH M+/Raider Looking for New Home for Retail and Forever [US]

Hey, everyone! I'm Inkheart. I'm a DH one trick on retail, and I'm looking for a AOTC/Mythic light guild to call home after my current guilds raiding team disbanded for IRL issues. I pushed keys and some mythic content in all seasons of War Within and Midnight season 1, but I've dropped off for Midnight season 2 because of the guild disbanding and to focus on work.

I'm a little burned out on retail at the moment, but I'm looking to jump back into the game once Forever launches. That being said, I wouldn't mind getting back into retail as well if the right team had a spot.

Some things about me: I'm a full time teacher, so my gaming is limited to nights and weekends, but I don't slouch when it comes to prepping for raid nights/keys. I'm also a queer leftist from the Midwest.

If you have a spot on your roster, let me know!

Topped 1k with Turtle Farm

Over the weekend, I took a 5 color turbo turtles to a local 1k, and finished 3rd.

Round 1 (Loss): Magda, Me, Yoshi/Thras, and Kinnan.

Magda has an explosive start. I have an early Rhystic Study and Pollywog Prodigy. Kinnan keeps a 1 land hand. His only meaningful play is to crop rot his green land to find a blue land, so he can counter my Imperial Seal. My engines stall out as Magda builds treasures. It gets to the point where he can get infinite treasures through Roaming Throne and Clock. I talk to Yoshi and explain that we can stall him out if we have two removal spells. Magda only has enough resources to go over our interaction once, so we need to work together. Magda goes to win, I fire off my Chain of Vapor. Magda gets recast and tries again. Yoshi casts Every Lives. Magda chuckles, makes infinite treasures, and wins in my upkeep.

Round 2 (Win): Vivi, Me, Jodah.

This one was rough. This was my opponents' first tournament. They both dirdled. I found a Necro.

Round 3 (Win): Azula, Mikey/Leo, Me, Y'shtola.

This round was a slog. I get paired with my buddy who is on my exact 98. My opening hand was turn 1 voice into a turn 2 Intuition push. My buddy flashes me his Boseiju, so I play Leo and smack the Azula player. Azula goes for an unprotected Breach win on his turn 3 and gets blown out. The next three turn cycles consist of my buddy making solid win attempts, but the table stops him every time. He eventually ends with a Wheel of Fortune, but finds nothing. I untap and win.

Round 4 (Draw): Rog/Ishai, Blue Farm, Me, Celes.

Rog, Farm, and I discuss drawing since we all have 2 wins and we want food. Celes as 1 win and 2 draws at this point. He agrees to the draw saying he's confident that he can get another win (he doesnt). We get lunch.

Round 5 (Lose): Tymna/Thras, Etali, Me, Etali.

We check standings. Second Etali and I are locked for top 10. The other two only have 5 points, but they can squeak in with breakers. Etali in seat 2 wins on turn 2. Quick game.

Top 10 (Win): Me, Arcum, Tymna/Thras (different pilot), and my buddy.

I keep a turn 1 Voice into a turn 2 Necro. My buddy and T&T keep early Rhystics. Arcum attempts a turn 3 push, but fucks up and stalls out. My buddy goes for a Thoracle win. I Intuition for a counterspell and two Breach pieces. I untap and win.

Top 4: Rog/Ishai, Blue Farm, Me, and Etali.

We play it out, but agree to a split if we end up in a king-making situation. I expect Etali to explode and get stopped by the other two players, so I expect the game to go long. I mull to 5 and keep a turn one Tithe into Leo and Mikey turn 2. Rog and Farm are keeping Etali down while my board is getting huge. My creatures ended up with 10+ power by the end. We end up in a king-making situation were I could swing out and kill either Rog/Ishai or Farm, but not both. We agree to draw, and we all walk away with $250.

Overall, the deck felt solid, and I'm super proud of it. Definitely feels like it has staying power. Let me know if ya'll have any questions!
