Did an oil change about a month ago. Seemed to go well a 2 quarts put it over which I thought was strange. Drained a little oil to get it to the the right fill level. I didn't take it for a ride straight after the oil change , but I did the propper warm on idle for three minutes etc. Seemed fine, but didn't take it out on a ride.

Fast forward to yesterday went to move the bike the gear shifting was clunky as hell took forever to find neutral. Is this a sign that the oil isn't getting to the gearbox because I screwed up the oil filter? I'm planning on just redoing the oil change but figured I would post here. Would that be the sign I didn't seat that oil filter? Does the oil pass through the oil filter to get to the gearbox?
