I’ve been itching to make something with this color palette for quite some time now and I’m glad I finally got to put together a project like this. I even got a chance to add a bit of subtle/simple visual effects within the project.

Done with a minimal crew & budget (hopes and dreams if i’m being honest) but I absolutely loved the way the first shots turned out!

Maybe the most hectic 12 Hr shoot day i’ve ever had, this was done a little over a year ago so I catch myself looking back at this and realizing all the things I could’ve done differently but I know that’s the beauty of creating and evolving with each project.

This was my first commercial i’ve ever got a chance to direct so the knowledge I gained from the whole process was incredible!

Started with a open white walled set which was
turned into the two separate room look.

The project was for a clothing brands campaign but I’ve honestly been itching to do this for so long, let me know what you guys think!

Did this on a whim with the only lighting being the sun that was setting behind us at the park and some of our phone lights on to help laminate the girls face.

also some of us throwing fake blood at her as she swung the axe.

No fancy rig to make this happen, it was just my friends truck following the character while I was in the back holding my camera while it was on a tripod.

Gyroflow came in clutch for that first shot cause everything was done handheld.
