Anyone familiar with JCCC's IT internship program?
Hi everyone,
I'm a student in the Information Technology program at JCCC and was hoping to hear from anyone who has completed the IT internship or knows how it works.
I currently work full-time, so I'm especially interested in knowing:
- Were your internships paid or unpaid?
- How flexible were the hours?
- Were you able to balance the internship with a full-time job, or was it difficult?
- Did JCCC help you find an internship that fit your schedule, or did you have to find one on your own?
I've already asked my advisor and am in the process of being connected with someone in the IT department, so I should be able to get some of the more official details. I was also hoping to hear from students who have actually gone through the program to learn what their experiences were like.
I'd really appreciate any insights or advice. Thanks!
