I'm currently doing an internship with an insurance company, and I feel like I've been blindsided.

When I applied for this internship, there was absolutely no mention that selling an insurance policy was a requirement to receive the internship completion certificate. The application, onboarding, and initial discussions only talked about learning, training, and completing the assigned work.

Now, near the end of the internship, they're suddenly saying that I won't get my completion certificate unless I successfully sell an insurance policy.

The problem is, I'm an intern—not a salesperson. I joined to gain experience and fulfill my college internship requirements, not to pressure my friends and family into buying insurance just so I can get a piece of paper proving I completed the internship.

So I decided to post on reddit to find someone who is interested in purchasing any LIC insurance policy.

Please help me out, I only have one week left. 😭😭
