at what point can i start calling myself an entomologist?

this is a little silly i’m sure but bugs have been my biggest interest since middle school (im 20 now). i’m close to finishing my environmental science undergrad and my entomology minor. i’m also currently doing research on spiders (i know they’re not insects but they’re in the ento department). i know A Lot about bugs but i get so nervous about referring to myself as an entomologist.

this is something that just bothers me a bit, im curious what people think is the point where i can call myself an entomologist.

blazing star or something else?

kentucky, us. zone 7a. desperate to figure out what this plant is, it popped up in my (semi) native garden and i want to know if i should leave it or dig it up. i cut a single one as low to the ground as i could, there’s orange eggs(?) on the undersides of the lower leaves. the whole mass is 2-4 feet tall i think.
