Just curious about the quality of those cheap $100ish ebay midpipes - will they do anything to hurt the longevity of the car? Deleting air pump and don't want some super special/loud exhaust, will keep the factory catback and was considering getting one of those ebay midpipes. I suppose it would be okay to use as all it's doing is moving exhaust gasses back, right?

My factory cat is clogged and I hate the catalyst system in rotaries because it adds all the emissions junk to the car.

Doing a rebuild on a 4port auto base trim (I know, literally the worst RX-8 spec) and I was wondering what reliability mods there are inside of the engine I can perform. Already thinking about a higher pressure oil regulator (one from a 13B-REW or similar). This isn't my first rodeo, I've already worked on an RX7 GSLSE before so I am familiar with how these engines operate and fail. I really don't want to take the engine out of the car again, and want to make sure I can do as much as I can to extend the lifespan of the car. Thank you!
