Lobo Space white

Lobo Space white

Few weeks ago we got 2026 Lobo in space white. Now we are still loving it. Funny part is my wife said “no white or blue” and when she saw space white then decided that’s the colour for her.
It drives fun, such small size that somewhat reminds me of K cars in Japan (Honda N box rental). We are loving it so far.
In photos it looks white but in person this trucks looks so awesome and got many compliments.
For those considering, we don’t need to tow anything so truck was just a choice of fun and annual mulch haul so Maverick Lobo was perfect for us.

Installed Bison Tri fold cover today

It was ok to install after watching a YouTube video but definitely instructions could be better. As far as quality, everything seems to be decent quality similar to what we saw in Ford showroom but this was $650 Canadian vs they wanted $1,600 for Ford one. Can’t say on longevity and long term use but initial impressions are decent.

Speed limit change to 60km on 270RR south of HWY 11

Does anyone know why they changed speed on that stretch? South of 595 it still is 80km and north of HWY11 it is 70. 270RR seems similar to other range roads that are still 80km/h.

I've read somewhere that its due to some resident complaints that live in that area but its hard to believe that county would change rules based on that.

I wrote to county to get official answer but haven't heard back.

60km/h on that road is painfully too slow and most people continue going 80-85 while passing law abiding citizens in unsafe manner.

Any knowledge on this from this group?

Edit: Apparently that stretch of range road is under City. I guess i need to contact city to ask.

Young oak tree trimming

New to tree trimming. Always wanted an oak tree. This is super young and planted last year. It’s growing really well.

Any suggestions for trimming? It looks like a lot of growth on the bottom. I read online that we shouldn’t trim young trees as they need all leafs they can get.

This is in central Alberta. Tons of sun and I water it regularly.
Do I trim little branches this year or wait a few year and then shape it so it’s grows taller and doesn’t go too wide on the bottom?
