Insight on GM350 internals

Long story short, 85 El Camino SS Choo Choo with a 2017 GM350 with turbo 350 trans, AVS2 Edelbrock carb with long tube headers. Motor has 5k miles on it.

I’m looking into just some small upgrades like heads, cam, bigger carb? Not trying to build it into a race car, just want some more go, ya know?

Also I’m fairly new to this, the trans shifts early and even at wot shifts at like maybe 3400, is that normal and ok?

CBR1000rr kart/custom build

I tried to find blue prints/ plans for a formula pacific kart, got no help and can’t find anything.

So, I guess I’m going completely custom build. Many questions, would love insight.

I have a 2023 cbr1000rr that I’m stripping for a kart.

My goals: keep larger rear tires (8-10” rims) so I can use close to stock sprocket size.

Probably going to have same size front wheels but a little skinnier.

Want to have weight up front so was thinking having forward seating position to have my legs over the front tires since so much weight will be in the back.

I think I’m leaning to 1 1/4” 1/8” thick square tubing for frame. Still going over torque rating and tension specs to see if I’m going round tube or square. Possibly even solid round for main frame.

Rigid/ suspension. I’m leaning more towards rigid just for ease plus I don’t want anything crazy to go on in the front end at high speeds.

Many other ideas, just getting all my specs and info together before my build starts.

One more fun idea I’m playing with is using a dirtbike handle bar to keep the throttle , front brakes and clutch on bars then have foot shifter (left) and rear brake (right) kind of like a street bike. I can see issues with turning sharply. Lmk.

I’m open to all thoughts, ideas, criticisms and inputs. Plz lmk.

Cbr1000rr kart/ formula pacific

I recently acquired a 2023 crb1000rr, I’m looking to make it into a formula pacific style go kart. I still want the rigid frame but I like the big style wheels and beefier everything. Plus with the bigger wheels I can run closer to stock gear ratio. Does anyone have blue prints or plans so I can custom build one close to those specs?
