35F minnesota femme girly looking for connection anywhere (preferably US) - new friends and maybe potential partner 💖

Hi! I’m a millennial lesbian looking for some new friends and maybe a potential partner (monogamous). My age range for connection is pretty wide. Most of my friends are millennials or Gen Z, so even if you are in your twenties that is totally fine with me. ☺️

I’m originally from Florida, but I’m living in Minnesota now. I do miss Florida a lot and I’m hoping to move back at some point. I’m a huge Disney fan and being in Florida to go to Disney World often was something I enjoyed a lot! I definitely would love to go there with someone special someday. 🏰💫 I also miss the Florida weather. 🏝️ Minnesota is a beautiful state, but I don’t do well in the severe cold weather during the winters. 🥶 lol

To be open about my situation, I am currently working through a divorce. I experienced comphet being raised in a strict religious household and I was married to a man. Things didn’t work out well for us because we could never connect intimately, and now I understand more since I realized about two years ago that I’m actually a lesbian.

I haven’t experienced sexual intimacy with a woman yet, but I am open to it for the right person. Even though I’m open to it, I’m probably still more of a bambi lesbian. I know I’m more interested in hugs and cuddling type of intimacy. But right now I’m mostly looking just for friends and once I’m officially divorced I’ll be more open for a serious relationship. Going through this situation with my ex is already difficult as it is and I’m not interested in dating during this time. I would just love to have someone kind to talk to and a friend to be there to help me through this chapter of my life. I would really appreciate it a lot. 🫂💗

Other facts about myself — I’m about 5’2”-5’3” tall, slender, with fair skin and dark black/brown hair and green eyes. Even though I’m 35, I was mistaken for being 23 just this year. I look far younger than I actually am. 🤭 I went to an all-girls Catholic high school and I was voted as “most sincere” by my senior class. I love someone’s beautiful heart the most. Kindness and sincerity are very important to me and that is something I value a lot for any kind of relationship.

I was also raised Catholic throughout my life. My religion used to be a big part of my life, but I’ve had to take a step back from that right now since I realized certain things were preventing me from understanding myself and my sexuality. That’s been really hard, especially since I always took my faith to very seriously. I still believe in God and love God very much, but I am not interested in being a part of a church community at the moment.

As I previously said, I’m a big Disney fan. I love animated movies and I even studied digital art and graphic design in college. My favorite Disney movies are mostly the Disney Princess movies, but one of my new all time favorite movies is Inside Out 2! I love the way they illustrated anxiety and since I’ve experienced a lot of anxiety myself I definitely understand. I’m definitely an advocate for mental health, so I appreciated that movie a lot. I’ve also really enjoyed Kpop Demon Hunters! The message of battling our own demons and not being afraid to be your true self really spoke to me. I love the songs in that movie and everything! My favorite TV show is Gilmore Girls and I would love to watch that (or something else) virtually with a new friend sometime.

One of my favorite games to play is Disney Dreamlight Valley on the Switch. 🎮 I’ve also enjoyed the Sims on my computer, but I haven’t played it in a while since right now I’m pretty hooked on Dreamlight Valley.

I’m also a big Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez fan. I love their music. And one of my favorite places to grab some lunch is Chick-fil-A. I also love going to shop at Target or the mall. 🛍️ And I enjoy seeing movies in the theater. I just saw the movie Girls Like Girls in theaters and it made me cry. I thought it was very sweet and beautiful. 🥹 It really touched my heart. I had never seen a movie like that before.

Anyways, thanks for reading my post. If you think we have something in common and would like to be friends please comment below before sending a message. I would appreciate that. Thank you so much! 💖
