My First Case
Funny story about my first Case knife. I’d left the modern knives behind awhile ago when I got my first Victorinox. Was watching some SAK YouTube and started getting some recommendations on traditional folders. Decided I wanted to buy a Case folder. Without doing much research I started browsing on Amazon and found this Case that I thought looked pretty cool and ordered it. When I was waiting for the order to arrive I was seeing some online chatter about Case knives being inconsistent, was a little worried but also understand that online chatter is usually way over blown. When I got it, I was blown away by the look and feel of this knife. The only thing I needed to do was strop it up a little. Other than that, it arrived better than expected.
A week or so later I’m watching some knife YT and I’m seeing Case Tony Bose knives. I’m thinking to myself, “Wish I’d bought a TB knife, I’ll have to get one.” See another video about the meaning of the pattern stamp on Case knives. Look at mine, TB6339. First try and I accidentally bought a Tony Bose, lol.
Anyways, I’m really enjoying this nice little folder and it’s been in my pocket everyday. Prompted me to order another model.
