Anyone following Eloralintide?

Been going down the Eloralintide rabbit hole lately. From what I understand, it seems like a potentially more selective approach to amylin receptor agonism compared with cag. I’ve seen some pretty big claims about potency and tolerability too, but I’m still trying to separate what’s actually supported from hype.

Current lab rat is on 12mg Reta + 1mg cag weekly. Appetite suppression and overall calorie control are pretty solid, especially with the Reta that high. The problem is the rat still seems to have a ton of food noise/cravings for unhealthy foods despite not actually wanting to eat that much.

That was basically the reason cag was added in the first place. It does seem to help somewhat with the food noise and satiety side of things, but not nearly as much as hoped, and the nausea has been pretty rough. The broader receptor activity of cag, including calcitonin receptor activation, is another reason I’ve been interested in alternatives.

I’ve acquired some Eloralintide for planned research with the rat, mainly because the more selective amylin receptor profile caught my attention. Before going any further with it though, I’m curious what people here think of the actual research comparing Elora and cag.
Mainly interested in receptor selectivity, potency, nausea/GI effects, satiety and food noise. Anyone else have had experience in researching Eloralintide? Would love if you could share details.

Might give Eloralintide a shot

From what I’ve seen so far elora seems somewhat of a more selective alternative to cag. I’ve seen people saying that it could be a lot more potent and possibly more tolerated. could be wrong. Don’t want to be a misinformer

But it has for sure caught my attention, and Lilly has been hyping it up.

I’m stacking Reta and cag. Cagrilintide makes me awfully nauseous, while my food noise is pretty insane on Reta alone.
I’m seriously considering grabbing a couple kits. Before I pull the trigger though, I’d really like to hear from anyone who has actually tried it or has closely followed the research.
How was your experience with elora, particularly in terms of nausea, food noise, appetite, and overall tolerability? Any insights or experiences would be appreciated.

I (21M) came on way too strong and she (21F) called it out. How can I salvage this?

Disclosure: Ai did help me out here because there is so much stuff I want to explain and it was hard for me to keep track of the timeline and the multiple aspects of the situation.

Context: So basically this is the first relationship I’ve been in because I got some real issues lol, but I’ve improved my looks dramatically lately and been getting attention from women that I’m not used to. But the girl in question was the daughter of one of my dads friends and when we met I guess she liked what she saw because it was quite obvious when her mom was begging me to make a move on her. I was in denial that she actually had interest in me because she is way out of my league. She is smart, motivated, very successful and that was intimidating to me. But I took my shot because it was about time I put myself out there. And she immediately accepted when I asked her out. We’ve been talking to each other for two and a half months and have exchanged Ily’s at this point. And I don’t mean to be a deceiver, but I’m quite ashamed of my lifestyle and my living situation (Ive been a mess for a long time and I’ve been through severe depression and self esteem issues). But now that I have a girlfriend i’ve ever been so driven and hopeful in my entire life. That being said I have been a little performative and twist the truth about myself sometimes (not proud of this).

**Where I went wrong:** So basically I have a business tik tok account that I’ve recently started so I can make extra money to be the man I need to be (my regular job is an HVAC technician) and on a livestream where I was promoting some products she joined the live and commented (My Boyfriend ❤️) and I was genuinely happy to see her but at the same time I was in the middle of a grind. So I jokingly said I don’t know her with a smirk on my face. Then immediately said I was kidding. But it was too late. What I said was messed up on many levels. She laughed it off when I said it was a bad joke. But a couple days later she said it threw her off. I apologized, then spiraled: told her I hadn’t been good enough for her, that I didn’t want to lose her, said I love you again. She replied that I don’t love her, we’ve barely seen each other. Later she sent me “Cherry Flavoured” by The Neighbourhood, which I read as her saying my affection feels performative. She’d told me early on she didn’t want an anxious-attachment dynamic, and I gave her exactly that. That’s on me. I think that she believes that deep down I’m actually a disgusting human and trying to manipulate her with my affection. And while I’m not always honest with her (I really am ashamed about every lie I told her and want to work on this), I do it because I’m scared of what she will think. I don’t want to lose her. She is extremely smart, and I’m not surprised that she has likely caught onto my little “harmless” lies.

Here is the other side: I’ve put real effort in. I’ve taken her to restaurants I couldn’t really afford. I once drove all over town for a bouquet of roses and overpaid because I couldn’t find them anywhere else. I cooked her a full dinner — parmesan risotto, tenderloin, scallops, asparagus, arugula salad with everything. She loved it, and posted a photo of it on her story. Then she cancelled the rest of the night.

That’s the pattern, more or less. She makes plans and cancels last minute, several times over. I’ve rearranged my schedule around her repeatedly and sat on standby for hours waiting on plans she proposed. I’ve shown up to meeting places she never came to — more than once. I booked a spa day she was excited about; she cancelled that too. Before she left for a month in Norway she asked me to stay loyal, and I did. I’ve never received anything btw and I’m waiting until she is ready.

She is very active on her social media, perhaps even an influencer of some sorts, I try not to read too deeply into the things that she posts. But this one post on her tik tok hit me differently. It said “”You’re probably talking to other guys” - honey I barely even talk to you”. Ouch

I was too much, and I totally get how my affection could be perceived as fake. I’ve written her a draft for a short apology owning my side and I’m planning to back off. Even tho she high key treats me like garbage, it would ruin me if my first relationship ended like this. Please help me fix this I feel like everything is on the line. But I would also like to know if y’all think I’m an idiot or a bad person. I’m very open to criticism I try to improve myself where I can.
