Hi everyone!

My fiancé is an active-duty U.S. Marine, and we’re planning to move to the US through the CR-1 visa process.

I’m thinking of taking TESDA Caregiving NC II while I’m still here in the Philippines since I’ll most likely need to study again in the US to become a CNA anyway. I figured it would be a good way to build a foundation and gain some basic caregiving knowledge before I move.

For those who have taken this path:

1. Did TESDA Caregiving NC II help you when you moved to the US?
2. Did you still have to complete CNA training after arriving?
3. Any TESDA-accredited schools in Metro Manila that you would recommend?
4. I’ve also been applying for a TESDA scholarship through the BRS portal but keep getting denied. Has anyone experienced this, and what did you do?

Kakalipat ko lang sa apartment sa Ordoña St., Lower Bicutan. Nagwo-work ako sa McKinley West, Taguig and hindi pa ako familiar sa area.

Paano kayo usually nagco-commute papunta at pauwi? May direct jeep/bus ba or kailangan mag-transfer?

Gaano rin katagal yung travel time during rush hour?

Any tips or recommended route would be appreciated. Thanks!
