Spencer Pratt
There’s something kind of comforting in finally understanding that this is all just a big show. You can just sit back, observe it, let it amuse you when possible, and realize everybody on the world stage is a filthy liar.
Which brings me to Spencer Pratt.
I’m fascinated by the history of his run, not only because I’m a millennial who grew up watching all the different iterations of Spencer Pratt, TV villain, faithful husband, burrito connoisseur, friend to the hummingbirds, but because of what’s happening now with this mayoral run.
And honestly I genuinely think Spencer believes all these wealthy, powerful people suddenly surrounding him are supporting him because they want to “make LA great.”
I’m kind of in awe of the parallels between Spencer Pratt and Donald Trump. Both bombastic former reality TV stars. Both representing the archetype of a certain kind of man’s man. The guy who puts his foot in his mouth constantly, says the wrong thing, says the politically incorrect thing, but somehow people still end up behind him because he’s almost become a charicature of himself at this point.
And I really do think Spencer believes he’s running to save LA. I think he believes the wealthy backers around him are there to help him do that.
Honestly I almost feel sorry for the guy for whatever is coming down the pipes for him in the city of devils.
LA. One of the most corrupted cities in American history. An organized crime ring operating from the lowest to the highest levels. A town built on exploitation, image, vice, manipulation, power.
I think Spencer Pratt is about to get a brutal wake up call when, after the ballots are in and he’s proclaimed mayor, he realizes what he actually stepped into.
What a wild reality we live in lol
