I was recently contacted by an IT consulting firm (ESN) in Luxembourg for a Junior Systems/Cloud Engineer role (focused on Linux, Kubernetes, Cloud, etc.).
They are asking for my salary expectations, but I'm not entirely sure what to say. After doing some research online and grilling Claude and Gemini, I'm thinking of asking for €54k gross annually.

For context:
• I have 3 years of work-study (alternance) experience working with Linux, including 2 years during my Master's degree at a bank.
• I hold 2 Red Hat certifications: one in OpenShift (so, Kubernetes) and the RHCSA.
• I graduated top of my class for my Master's.

Do you think €54k is a reasonable figure for this market?

Pour ceux qui l’ont vécu ou qui en ont la connaissance, pouvez-vous me dire quel est le salaire qu’il est possible d’avoir pour un ingénieur Systèmes/Infra Junior (donc Linux, Kubernetes, Cloud…) dans une ESN au Luxembourg ?

Sachant que j’ai déjà 3 ans d’expérience en alternance sur du Linux dont 2 pendant mon master (j’ai aussi 2 certifications Red Hat)

La fourchette de Hays donne 43k-58k€ comme fourchette pour les 0-3 ans experience.

Est-ce vrai ?
