[Sunday Rant] "Hey, what do you and Dean talk about?"

[Sunday Rant] "Hey, what do you and Dean talk about?"

Why couldn't Rory answer this question? She and Dean talk a lot about so much. Movies, music, books, life. They argue about issues and make up. They discuss, they communicate.

The writers annoy me sometimes.

And then when they make her date Jess, who they are setting up to supposedly be soo deep and have so much to talk about.... They make him her worst boyfriend who barely communicates.

Slow Sunday: Did Emily and Richard really not know Rory had been accepted into Chilton?

With how close they are to the Headmaster?

I fell like he would have seen "Lorelai Gilmore" and known that was their granddaughter.

Is it Jared Padalecki's acting style or was Dean an unusually angry teen?

Some actors think that yelling and shouting is the best type of acting so it could be this.

But Dean yells at everyone... Rory, Luke, Jess, even Kirk!

Everyone else is looking for their mail merely annoyed... He is angry. Yelling.

Edit:

I think a lot of people got defensive about this.

I'm not looking for explanations or excuses why he yells... Yes, Rory was emotionally cheating and gaslighting him. Yes, Luke. Yes, Richard. Yes, Lorelai... Yes Yes Yes. You can make a thousand reasons for his yelling.

I am just pointing out how frequent and jarring his yelling is.

I like the rare instances where Rory tries something before deciding she doesn't like it

Instead of just going along with whatever Lorelai thinks.

Whether she sticks with it or not. I like to see her own personality fight through...

Like Mother, Like Daughter?

I am watching this scene and Lorelai genuinely thinks it was okay to just invite Dean to watch the movie with them without asking Rory first...

Its almost the same as Emily inviting Rory's schoolmates to her Birthday party without asking her first.

Then Lorelai is offended that Rory compares her to Emily.

Saturday Silly Questions....

Why did Lorelai tell Emily she was at a wake for the cat? After refusing to accompany her to the cousin's funeral?

Thoughtless or Careless?

"WE applied elsewhere"??

I'm rewatching and wow... She was so upset. She even threw a tantrum in front of guests. And Rory is even scared to answer the question properly... It almost feels like Lorelai is the exact same as her mother.

Controlling.

The difference is that Lorelai doesn't have a wild child who fights back. She has Rory who asks her "are you mad"?

Please help me not have a page number on the cover page

Like I'm an idiot.

Why is this so complicated 😭

I just need to start my page numbering on the 2nd page of the document. And have it start at 1.
