OVER TWO THIRDS OF TEAMS HAVE A KICKER OR PUNTER AS A TOP THREE PLAYER!!
this is a sign that people are NOT landing enough recruits and that the auto-generated special teams players are the only viable players
really hoping this gets fixed soon
Wanted to share some VERY early results with the dynasty folks - I still dont think national rank matters.
This confirms many people's suspicions that THE players to target are the low-end NIL-cheap 3 star players.
Each dot is a WR. For a given WR, we are comparing their 10 scouting attributes to the typical attributes within their archetype
Ex: If a Speedster WR has 89 speed but the avg Speedster speed is 95, that would be negative in this chart. Then group all 10 ratings for the player
So because that line of best fit is FLAT across both 4 and 3 stars, what i am saying is:
If I had the 500th ranked 3-star and you had the 1500th ranked 3-star, i would NOT expect my guy to have better day-one ratings than your guy, even after accounting for the archetypes of the players
I took the NIL budgets for all teams from Poodle's pre-launch video alongside the school grades to try to answer the question: which letter grades seem to influence a team's starting total NIL amount the most?
HUGE finding - I think Brand Exposure and Athletic Facilities are going to be THE TWO BIGGEST controllable levers to get more NIL budget this year
Besides switching conferences entirely, it looks like the most critical pieces of getting more NIL is having a bigger brand and better facilities grades

But what if we actually did something with all that data? What if we ranked teams not just by star tier, but by how good a team is for how YOU play the game?

Hey all, longtime viewer, first time poster! With CFB 26 coming to a close, I wanted to share a free way for you to compare how attributes differ across positions, archetypes, and star tiers.
It's called ScoutScore Explorer, and it's built from over 21,000 recruits submitted by fellow players like us.
It's super helpful to answer questions like:
* How much faster are 5-star WRs than 4-star WRs?
* Which OLB archetype has the best zone coverage as a freshman?
* Who is faster, bump and run CBs or Speedster WRs?
For that last question, i'll attach the results when looking at 4-stars. Turns out, 4-star Bump and Run CBs are about as fast as 4-star Speedster WRs!!
This tool will be transitioned and actively maintained for CFB 27 on launch day, and I expect the free-tool community to have 10,000 CFB 27 recruits saved within the first week of launch.

For you Madden PC players, what’s the benefit? I see people talk about “modding” but what does that actually mean?
Like are you getting cool stuff in your franchise? Or like better tracking? Would love to hear how ppl actually benefit so I can decide if I should play madden/CFB on Xbox or pc this year
