Posting about this again for anytime who might be seeing a problem with steering

My power steering stopped working suddenly. This has been a problem on and off for the last year. I took it in and they scanned the codes. They replaced the steering torque sensor. 3 weeks later, the problem is back. I submitted a report with the NHTSA and I'm going to call the dealership and corporate next.

Edit: I found a service bulletin from Hyundai addressing this exact thing.

https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2021/MC-10186825-0001.pdf

I've given this bulletin number to the dealer. I purchased an extended electronics warranty when I bought the car which covered the last attempted repair.

Armed with this, and the parts numbers for the motor and the clear indication of a widespread problem, I bet I can get the dealer to fix this no problem.

Ridge pro fork on regular ridge

I bought a gently used ridge pro fork for $40. I'm looking to put it on my father's FS.2 ridge. I know it will need a new wheel and probably headset, but will it be dangerous for the frame? He doesn't do anything more intense than a 3' drop.

I totally crunched the tourney derailleur

So I completely destroyed the rear derailleur while riding on a raised wooden platform. I bought an Altus RD-M310 derailleur to replace it. Anyone have experience with swapping out the rear derailleur? I'm wondering if there's a better option with a clutch that anyone has found for under $40.

Edit: I got the Altus derailleur installed and tuned up! It's shifting as good as new.

Started with master grade, went to high grade for the next one haha.

Wow is this so much easier. I really enjoyed the MG, so I'm interested in an RG. Anyone got suggestions? I want something that's not going to make me suffer lol. I'm a bit worried about the small scale with the MG realism.

Learning to pose

Trying some poses. Boy it's hard to get it to balance.

Finished the arms and sabers!

As my first build, this is a bit more in depth than I was expecting to get, but I'm very happy with my progress and how it's looking. I really need some glass files haha.

WIP RX78-2 MG that I'm working on. First build!

Panel lining is going alright with an acrylic paint pen. It takes forever to get the way I want on some of the parts. Spent 2 hours on the head last night. A pencil eraser works great for removing unwanted paint. I learned that from this sub🙌
