The Khaled Beydoun & human appeal controversy. What happened next?

What happened next after the Khaled Beydoun and human appeal controversy? Well nothing, no one has been held accountable and people continue to donate without asking questions. I believe people need to get an answer from the organization themselves.

Human appeal does good in their charity work, but in this instance they were in the wrong and need to address it fully, otherwise it raises questions about how they have been running their charity in the past and what they are hiding from us.

Charity executives all paid 6 figures

In 2024, 17 employees from the Human Rights Watch Charity were all paid 6 figures totaling, $5 million, with the executive earning almost HALF A MILLION DOLLARS.

Then we look at their fundraiser. NGOs usually pay other groups to raise money for them. We can see that for all the money raised for Human Rights watch, the people who raised the money kept half of it. Some even raised less but were paid more, which genuinely raises an eyebrow.

We need to hold these charities accountable and stop donating to them. Upvote and share to spread awareness!

All this information is public available.

The only trade with no losses.

Most people want to get very rich first before donating to charity. However, even $5 or €5 can go a long way. It is the act that matters, not the amount!

This is just a reminder for anyone who needs it. I began changing my mindset this past Ramadan to give to charity no matter how small the amount is!

We also have verify the charity first before giving

There's this cultural assumption that giving is something you do once you're financially stable.

Get the job. Pay off debt. Build savings. Then be generous.

But almost everything in the Sunnah points in the opposite direction.

The Prophet praised the woman who gave half of what she owned. The emphasis is always on sincerity and proportion, never on the absolute amount.

I've watched people defer sadaqah for years waiting to reach some threshold of financial security. The barakah they were waiting to accumulate might have been waiting for them to start giving.

It's a different way of understanding cause and effect. This is just a reminder for anyone who needs it!
